Product Description

Description:
Aluminium gas filter; long-life filter element with high dust-absorption composed of two Viledon P15/500S panels approved to DIN EN779, synthetic filter cage with penetration-resistant steel reinforcement; NBR cover O-ring. Suitable for manufactured gas,natural gas, liquefied petroleum gas (LPG), non-aggressive gas and air. PN 6 with 2 tapping points. Filtration rating: 50 µm.
Operating temperature range: -20÷80°C.

Installation:
1.Verify that the technical characteristics at the usage site and the filter's applicability comply with the equipment specifications.

2.Installing the filter on a shaky base is not advised.

3.Place the filter on the threaded bushing using the proper tool for the job.

4.The ease of accessing the cover for cleaning and inspection should be considered while installing the
filter.

5.Make sure the fluid is flowing in the same direction as the filter's flow indicator. 6.Both vertical and horizontal pipelines can have filters added.

Maintenance:
When the pressure drop Δp between the filter pressure test ports exceeds 10 mbar, it is recommended that the filter cartridge be replaced at least once a year. If the filter cartridge is to be replaced do the following:
1. Close the stop valve cocks and disconnect the air supply;
2. Loosen the screws and open the cover;
3. Remove the filter cartridge and clean the filter chamber carefully;
4. Replace the filter cartridge with a new one;
5. Reinstall the filter, ensuring that the internal guide is securely assembled with the cartridge, tighten the screws and close the lid;
6. Check the unit for gas leaks.
All installation and maintenance operations must be carried out by specialist technicians.
