Product Description

INSTALLATION:

This valve can be installed in any positions. On horizontal pipes it is advisable to have the internal duct facing upward. Be careful to the following instructions during the installation phase:
1. never install the valve using the duct for leverage;
2. make certain that the piping is well aligned and that there are no
obstacles or dirties inside the same;
3. follow the flow direction according to the arrow printed on the valve's
body;
4. check that all the parameters such as pressure, voltage, temperature
and others are followed;
5. install the valve such as to avoid the contact with plastered walls;
6. do not plug or obstruct the knob guide as this could compromisethe
valve's function;
7. fit a suitable gas filter upstream the valve;
8. If the solenoid valve is installed outside, as usual, it is suggestedto
protect it by the atmosphere agents;
9. The electrical connections to the coil have to be carried out by qualified personel and in compliance with the regulations in
force. Power supply cable: 3 x 0,75 mm² H05VV-F.

General:
Ev and ev / 6b series valves are normally closed; The opening is maintained by a live electromagnetic coil. These valves shall be constructed in such a way as to ensure the interception of the fuel both for hazard reports sent by detectors, gas leaks and for lack of power from the electricity grid. For greater safety these valves can be rearmed only when there is tension in the network and only when the detector leaks gas without any hazard warning (positive safety).

RIARMO:

the rearm of these valves is exclusively manual in order to be able to verify and eliminate the causes of the emergency. To facilitate rearmament, all ev / 6b electrode holders and flanged models of ev series (excluding dn50) shall have a double shutter; This avoids the need to build by-passes on the pipe between the valve upstream and downstream. In order to rearm the double-shutter valves, follow the instructions attached inside the funnel, while for the ev threaded series with dn50 flange, having a single shutter, it is sufficient to pull the aluminium knob above the valve socket.

MANUTENZIONE:

the valves do not require any special maintenance; In the event of a breakdown, a general review and a factory test are recommended. Check periodically that the entire safety system (gas leak detector and valve) functions correctly.
